Visual Arts Study Award

As part of their sponsorship of my new book 'Fashion Etcetera' and the related exhibition in New York, Tommy Hilfiger are launching a small capsule collection featuring my work.
A portion of sales from this range be donated directly to a charity for disbursement in the form of a study award. Application will be open to any students from around the world and the award may be applied to any graduate or post-graduate course at a known and accredited art school or university.
Applicants will need to send a one page written application with a brief outline of their creative ambitions, achievements to-date, proof of admission to or attendance at a college along with four examples of their work in jpeg format or a link to a web site or blog.
Applicants will be chosen on creative merit and I will review all the submissions and make the final selection.
Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed and will be expected to answer a detailed questionnaire. Shortlisted applicants will also - with their permission - have their work featured on this blog. The grant will be administered by an independent third party charity (to be announced).
The study award will be available in the fall of 2010. Applications may be submitted from June 1st 2009 and will close on June 1st 2010.Interested parties should e-mail enquiries to: studygrant@haskins.com

Notes on 'Fashion Etcetera':
The book will be launched in September with an exhibition at Milk Gallery in New York. The project is a partnership with the Tommy Hilfiger group who have exclusive rights on a special edition of the book and are sole sponsors of the exhibition.
