20th July 2007

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

Some of parts of Britain received a month of rainfall in a day. Read what the BBC said about the unusual flooding here. Britain reeled from the severe flooding on the 20th only to have further deluges over the weekend leaving vast tracts of land under water and trapping thousands of people.

The Independent Newspaper carried a story titled ‘England under water: scientists confirm global warming link to increased rain‘.
